Rosa has been designing, making and selling custom pieces for film, stage, and personal wardrobes in Los Angeles for more than 20 years. She’s also taught sewing skills of all levels for more than 5 years. Here are a few key moments.

Theater and Costume Design

In 2007, Rosa found her calling in the costume shop at Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga. Since then she’s worked freelance for theater and individual stage performers. She currently works for LA Opera.

Lucha VaVoom

Rosa has been the wardrobe assistant for Lucha VaVoom since 2018. Lucha VaVoom is a high-octane, fun-filled event full of Burlesque dancers, Mexican Wrestlers, High-wire acts and Special Guest musical performances. Lucha VaVoom .

Online Zoom Sewing Lessons

Rosa is a member of T.E.L.A.S. (The East LA Stitchers) and Created L.A. Sewcial Club in 2012. Her husband is the podcaster Dre of Dre’s Geek Philosophy. Their son, Tiger, wants to be a firefighter when he grows up.
